e-Inclusion on Europa

This forum platform is about e-Inclusion/e-Accessibility R&D and Innovation Projects administered by EC / DG Information Society & Media - Unit ICT for Inclusion. This domain has been called with various names in the past, e.g. "e-Inclusion", "Special Needs", "Disable and Elderly". It includes also a section the new cross-theme "Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) for the Ageing Society".

  • It is a Repository of information from EC Services and RTD Projects for preparation of meetings: Concertations with running projects, Information Days related to Calls for Proposals, etc. In addition the library is used as an Archive for related data in previous programmes.
  • It also includes a Calendar for such meetings and for co-participation in conferences or other events.
  • No newsgroup is currently enable here (alternative groups exist: e.g. i2010-inclusion on Yahoo , EDeAN SIGs)
  • No Wiki/Blog type fonctionnality is currently available here but a prototype is already running on www.ipolicy.eu : you are warmly encouraged to use it for contributing to the further definition of this domain agenda (some Information Society descriptions are also present on Wikipedia)

This forum must only be seen as a complementary service to the activity presentations and project factsheets provided on CORDIS regarding this domain in the current or recent framework programmes. Important events are therefore primarily indicated on CORDIS.

The information is provided with public read access. Material is currently uploaded only by EC staff. This forum is supported by the CIRCA Interest Groups facility (Home, IDABC) developed for exchanges with and within the EU Institutions.
