LFS PUBLICATIONS, QUALITY REPORTS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS

The Eurostat publications related to the EU LFS are organised in five series:

 

  1. Methods and definitions
  2. Characteristics of the national surveys
  3. Quality reports
  4. Statistics in Focus and data in Focus  (presenting the main results for variety of topics; for the up-dated list please consult Eurostat website)
  5. Detailed results (issued in paper format until 2002, from 2002 onwards the results are available on-line on Eurostat website)

 

Additionally, the EU LFS results are used in the series of analyses published by the European Commission. The EU LFS is one of the main sources used in the Annual Employment Report. This publication provides analytical and statistical background to the European Employment Strategy. For more information as well as the links to the reports, please follow this link.

A number of indicators complied using the EU LFS results is used to assess Member States' progress in implementing the Employment Guidelines and underpin the analysis of the National Action Plans (NAPs) and in the annual Joint Employment Report.
