Anonymised datasets

1. Release dates and updates

Due to different deadlines for the provision, validation and dissemination of LFS core data and LFS ad hoc module data, the anonymised LFS micro datasets release of year Y contains:

- Core Labour Force Survey data for reference years from 1983 to Y-1

- Ad hoc module data for reference years 1999 to Y-2 (please note that the ad-hoc modules 2000 and 2001 do not form part of the anonymised LFS micro data yet; they are under review and to be included in the future)

The anonymised LFS micro datasets are updated on a yearly basis and become available to users in the 4^th quarter of a year. New data in the release of year Y are core LFS data for year Y-1, ad hoc module data for year Y-2 plus all revisions of other datasets which were transmitted to Eurostat since the last release.

2. Anonymisation criteria

Anonymisation criteria are applied to the LFS microdata to minimize the risk of disclosure of the statistical units to which the records relate.

They are defined and agreed in the Working Group Labour Market Statistics on a regular basis:
