Set up by Article 14 of the Directive 2002/91/EC on the energy performance of buildings, this regulatory Committee has the mandate to assist the Commission by adopting draft implementing measures as defined by the Directive and to support the Commission in the review and evaluation of the Directive. This Committee also serves as a forum to exchange information and good practice.

This site seeks to facilitate efficient interchange of information between Commission services and EU Member States energy analysts on the different dimensions of energy policy and market activities. While most of the information here should be useful and understandable as such, the principal objective of the site is to provide support to the meetings of the Energy Economists' group. The different documents presented aim to share information and encourage further analysis, and therefore they do not necessarily reflect official opinions of the Member States or the Commission.

European High Level Group on Nuclear Safety and Waste Management was established by Commission's decision on 17 July 2007. The creation of this Group was endoresed by the European Council of 8-9 March 2007. It also got support from different EU Institutions. The purpose is to progressively develop a common understanding and furthering common approaches in priority domains related to the safety of nuclear installations. The Group brings together the senior officials from national regulatory or nuclear safety authorities.

The Gas Coordination Group should act as adviser to the Commission to facilitate the coordination of security of supply measures in the event of a Union or regional emergency. It is also the main body to be consulted by the Commission in the context of the establishment of the Preventive Action Plans and the Emergency Plans. The Gas Coordination Group should monitor the adequacy and appropriateness of measures to be taken under the Regulation (EU) No 994/2010 and exchange all information relevant for security of gas supply at national, regional and Union levels.
