If you experience any difficulty, please contact your IGLeaders or DIGIT-CIRCABC-SUPPORT@ec.europa.eu The mandate of this Inter-service Group is three-fold: To identify policy initiatives and programmes which aim at ensuring sustainable urban development and balancing specific handicaps from which these urban areas may suffer and to ensure cooperation between services to this extent; To promote an integrated approach to sustainable urban development in the course of the programming and implementation of the Structural Funds and to take adequate account of urban-related priorities in the different community policies; To ensure partnership between the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Committee of Regions and associations of cities and towns and to ensure a regular dialogue between these partners on how the urban dimension should be tackled.
