To support the implementation of co-financing opportunities for Natura 2000 the Commission elaborated a guidance handbook on how to use Community funds for Natura 2000 in the period 2007-2013. Workshops have been conducted in all Member States to further explain how to use Community funds on basis of the guidance handbook.
It is now foreseen to link the use of the guidance handbook on financing Natura 2000 with the elaboration of management plans. An IT tool will be elaborated and for 3 Natura 2000 sites the use of the IT tool will be demonstrated.
Documents like minutes of meetings, the guidance handbook, reports on conducted workshops etc. will be provided in the library.
