The European Climate Change Programme is the Commission’s main instrument to discuss and prepare the further development of the EU’s climate policy. The ECCP entered its second phase with a stakeholder conference on 24 October 2005.
ECCP II, as the first ECCP, is a stakeholder driven programme, involving Member States, industry, NGOs and academia. As such, this CIRCA website has been created to allow all stakeholders to become involved in the work programme.
There will be 5 Work Groups in ECCP II, namely: ECCP I Review, CO2 capture and geological storage, Impacts and Adaptation, Aviation and CO2 and Cars.
Stakeholders can post relevant materials (studies, position papers etc.) on this site by e-mailing them to Env-eccpii-registration@cec.eu.int.
